Unjust Appetites

Slightly different version of the poem I read in class.

I can see it, through his guise,
The look of moral compromise.
His gaze, it lurks, it greasy slides
The slope of carnal want, reprised.
On her back, a burning light.
A glare of unjust appetite.
Filed lies grow his case.
His stare reflects absence of grace
All his charm, his wit and guile
Her nervous face, predation smile
She all her life was gullibized.
But I can see it, through his lies.
A wolf, in wait, to terrorize.
